Mitchell Weiss is a Professor of Management Practice in the Entrepreneurial Management unit and the Richard L. Menschel Faculty Fellow at the Harvard Business School. He previously served as Chief of Staff to the late Mayor of Boston, Tom Menino, where he co-founded the Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics and played a key role in the city’s response to the Boston Marathon Bombing, including the creation of the One Fund Boston. In Weiss’ new book, "We the Possibility", he makes the case for governments’ capacity to solve big problems, calling for a new era of values-driven public leadership grounded in imagination, experimentation and growth.
