I've heard some discussion of, if the fall is moved online, moving the fall classes to summer 2021. How might that play out?

19:55
Is it possible to reschedule tickets for this summer to next winter break for our travel if we can get most things done before then, and if the tickets are already booked?

20:45
Nikita asks if students using equipment for their project could be shipped that equipment wherever they are in the world at the moment. She hoped to purchase and use a tablet to create her deliverable, and she had hoped to use the tablet over the summer.

How flexible will budgeting be?

21:09
thank u!

22:22
If we are considering doing local travel (in my case just to towns in the greater Boston area, by taking Ubers/Lyfts), should we assume that will not be allowed in the fall? Since university sponsored travel is not allowed, if we're in 450 right now are we allowed to include future (as in, in the fall) travel in our budget?

24:54
I just mean that should we be planning/writing our proposals as if we will not be allowed to travel / leave campus / potentially come to campus in the fall

26:28
Given that by the time we submit our project proposal we may still be considering multiple options for our work (for example lab work but a lit review as a contingency) how should that be reflected in our submission to KHC?

27:57
In my case, I have a plan B for my project that would involve changing its format from a podcast to a website. If I were to do that, I think I would want to switch my advisor or add another advisor who has some more experience in making websites as I don't have as much experience in it--would this be feasible, to add another advisor?

29:13
Great thank you!

29:33
^^

31:35
I see in the budget guidelines that the limit for outsourcing technical abilities is $250. would it be okay if my project requires $400 for that but little else?

32:49
ok thank you

34:44
Does Kilachand have guidelines on how to get IRB approval?

38:00
Thank you!

This is independent of COVID-19 related business but what would you suggest we emphasize in our one page project statement? Obviously there isn’t a lot of room to go into detail about the methods so how much can we gloss over the methods? And what should we really focus on getting across?

41:42
Cool thank you!

44:41
would you be able to email the recording to all juniors?

44:48
I know people who wanted to be here but were in class

45:25
Thank you and stay safe!

45:27
thank you@
